Tamla Gray

I started dancing as a 2-year-old and have always absolutely loved it. I trained at Dorothy Stevens’ School of Dance and it was here that I developed my passion for all forms of dance.

With the help of Dorothy Stevens, Jennifer McCrow, Vanessa Hooper and Linda Wallis, I achieved my teaching qualifications and the dream that I’d had since a young age – of having my own dance school – became a reality.

I’ve been teaching for over 20 years now and my love and enthusiasm for dance continues to grow. I am still as passionate as ever about fostering talent and making my classes enjoyable and challenging for my students. It brings great joy and pride to see that many of my students have gone on to perform at professional level.

I have always had a passion for dance, which resulted in studying at Newcastle College then going on to achieve a Contemporary Arts Degree at York St John University, graduating in 2012.
